The United States Department of Agriculture offers grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems and financial energy improvements. The REAP grant provides businesses with project funding of 25 percent for the total eligible project costs. Eligible project costs are between a minimum of $2,500 to a maximum of $500,000.
Applicants must provide at least 100% of the project costs if applying for the grant and are awarded the 25% grant following completion of the solar project. Energy audits and assessments are required for eligibility. The process is simple and easy to initiate. Sol Luna Solar will assist you through the entire application phase.
